• Be on time to meet the van (this applies to drivers and riders alike)
• Create a phone tree to ensure good communication with all riders in case of inclement weather or other short notice events. Elect a person to be the contact for early morning phone calls regarding absences or delays
• Decide on the station or type of music you'd like to listen to in advance.
• Have enough gas in the van for a round-trip before you leave in the morning
• Don't make detours for personal errands
• Refrain from smoking unless you are all smokers or have all agreed that smoking is okay
• Keep the van clean
• Select a responsible and enthusiastic driver
• Create and agree upon your own "rules of the road" right from the start
